G'day! I'm Kris.
The fitness industry is a beautiful place, where the opportunity to succeed financially, and live a life free of the 9-5 corporate monotony is enticing, but also where the risk of failure is high.
I started my fitness career at a gym where I was working 60-hour weeks, earning as little as $300 and had a storeroom of the gym as a bedroom. It was 18mths into my new career, when I was on the brink of moving home to Tasmania and back in with my parents, that I made a discovery that transformed my life.
This discovery was business education, and after immersing myself in just about every piece of content I could get my hands on and getting around every mentor I could, I was able to take my struggling ass, which was based in a commercial gym, from broke to fully-booked in only a couple of weeks. After a few months, I was charging up to $200 per session and grossing up to $6k per week.
In 2012, I started my own business and over the following five-years, I recruited and mentored more than 140 PTs and, together we helped 3,000 clients sweat through 114,000 PT sessions and generated more than $8 million along the way.
I'm no 'guru'; but if your goal is to build a wildly successful PT business from the gym floor, there is absolutely no-one more qualified to help you.
